On this walk through Vienna's 2nd district we learn a great deal about the city's eventful Jewish history. Where the most magnificent synagogues of the city once stood, today only memorial plaques and empty spaces recall that golden age. On this tour we bring Jewish culture in Leopoldstadt back to life. With its many theatres and cafés, the 2nd district was also a popular entertainment quarter — so along the way you will also hear about Johann Strauss, the Vienna Boys' Choir and Augarten porcelain.
